Besides their omakase which I talked about 22 December, Kyoten also has an ala carte menu, of which the for me was this wagyu sando. Both @eileen.jy and myself have tried many wagyu sando in Singapore, and we found this to be one of the best, and definitely most value-for-money at only $48 for four pieces of this.

Melt-in-your-mouth wagyu was flash fried, then sandwiched between two slices of soft white bread. As you bite through this, it was first the contrast in textures between all the layers, then came the sweet delicate wagyu juices. One feature which sets this apart from other wagyu sando is that the beef was smoked before serving, so it came with a pleasant smoky aroma.

Within less than a year, though we are in the midst of a recession, they increased the price of the wagyu sandwich by over 20% to $58++ during lunchtime. I honestly found it very mediocre and doesn't justify such a large price jump.
