A fun take on our quintessential breakfast set, the Kopi Kaya Peanut Butter Sliced Cake ($7.50) was easily the favourite. Aromatic, bittersweet, and fluffy, the coffee chiffon sponge was paired wonderfully with the pandan and homemade peanut butter filling. Though the nuttiness from the peanut was a little overpowering, the other elements were still able to shine and worked out nicely as a whole.
