I am starting my year with what a close friend calls “a staple in my diet”, that is none other than bread #2. Today I can finally dine at Bread & Hearth, because it was just Dad & I and he usually gives in to my suggestions when it’s just the 2 of us; his Asian preferences weren’t as strong 😬 the stars aligned.
I selected these for the first meal of the day, I like to start my day sweet and the strawberry cheese danish was a great choice with sweet cream cheese, a fresh strawberry that’s been baked and layers flaky good Danish pastry sheets *dreamy*.
To balance with a savoury item, I had the salted peanut butter crunch; you cannot complaint about the artisan bread here they make me glad to be living in the East.
