Their Tonkotsu pork broth was flavourful without being overly salty and had a good thick consistency.
Between their original, Black (garlic and squid), Red (chilli and Cayenne pepper) and Green (basil and olive); we tried the original Butao and Green King.
The original would be recommended to savour that award-winning broth in its purest form, while we also thoroughly enjoyed the basil-olive Green for a unique flavour. Garnished with parmesan cheese, it also had a thicker velvety broth. We would suggest to take the chef’s recommendation for the broth which had beautifully balanced spiciness; unless you prefer more heat to the ramen.
When there, do also check out their uniquely circular gyoza that hides many tasty mini gyoza underneath.
