This has to be the single most luxurious don I’ve ever had. Was it worth $98? Eh, maybe when I’m feeling rich.

I really liked the foie gras, and how it underplayed the usually overly rich flavour. Instead, it had a tasty soy glaze that gave it a spunky lift. Although served in very tiny blobs, the uni was good and fresh. Now luxury additions aside, the Australian steak was cooked tender with subtle seasoning and sliced neatly for easy bites. Plot twist: the rice and egg turned out to be really enjoyable (even on their own) as the oozy yolk clung to saucy rice for delicious spoonful after spoonful.
