if i may introduce the local canteen; your casual thai dishes but definitely no mediocre canteen fare. it was polished, refine and definitely thairifically tasty. .

stir fried glass noodles with egg & cowslip flowers (125 baht) was highly enjoyable. neither too oily nor salty, the taste amd texture was well balance with the cowslip flowers. but boy must you order a tom yum soup set (295 baht) with fried prawns topped with marinated garlic. soup was an enjoyable clean sharp spicy but it was the fried marinated garlic that really stole my heart.
