Always a fan of @oldsengchoong’s traditional pastries and their mooncakes are no exception. I love how the baked skins are thin and the smooth, dense filling is never gluey or saccharine. Among these three new flavours pictured, the white lotus paste infused with that distinct durian pungency is my favourite – my 4-year-old nephew loves it too!

If you like baked mooncakes, I also recommend their previously launched renditions of White Lotus Paste with Yolk Blend and Black Sesame with Yolk Blend & Melon Seeds – the salted egg yolk is mashed and evenly distributed across the centre of the mooncake in a horizontal layer, so that every bite is guaranteed a portion of that crumbly salty goodness.
