The koicha was indeed thick, intense with a robust earthy note that's not suited for the faint hearted! As a hardcore matchaholic, I truly enjoyed the full bodied earthy flavour that came with a bitter undertone. (Ps: I can also consume it in silo just like how one drinks espresso). The vanilla ice cream was smooth and creamy, helping to dilute the koicha to achieve what is otherwise known as a "matcha latte" with its fragrant milky flavour. Speculums crumbs added a pleasant crisp factor while also enhancing the visuals. If you've noticed carefully, there are also specks of salt dusted beneath the ice cream which resulted in a lingering salty aftertaste. A pretty strange and incompatible combination to the other bitter-sweet elements that could have been omitted IMO.
