After coming to know of this new cafe from the guys behind Birds of a Feather, I knew I had to give this place a shot. So, this modern chic cafe serves modern European with touches of Sichuanese flavours. YAAAAAS 🙌🏻

Taking good o’ vongole up a notch by infusing one of the classic flavors of Sichuan cuisine - ‘Yu Xiang’ flavor. Directly translated, this “fish fragrance” is a sauce that is created from a combination of tangy, spicy, sweet, sour flavors associated with the umami of fish. The use of flat thick yam noodles here is brilliant as it adds a chewy, rubbery, gelatinous texture to a dish!

Interestingly though slightly abrupt there is a slab of mozzarella, either have it with the slice of toasted multigrain bread or mix into the piquant yu xiang sauce!
