Dont let the simple decor and the premise of it being in the heartlands fool you. Their food represents excellent value and is high in taste too.

We had the steak (19.5) and the truffle pork chops (14)
Steak was medium rare and well seasoned. Pork was decent, and their truffle sauce gave it an excellent kick.

But their sides are why you should patronise this restaurant. Forget astons mac and cheese. The cheese mixed mozzarella and cheddar, and well toasted in an oven, which browned well on the top. Dont get me started on their fries. Each fry was exceptionally crisy, and represented a fantastic crunch with each bite. Crispy on the outside, yet soft and fluffy inside. Well seasoned that we didnt even need to ask for chilli/ ketchup.
