Finally tried these famous diamond-shaped egg tarts!!! First bite instantly shouted uniquely Singapore 🤤🤤 Crust was nothing to shout about, this isn’t the crumbly or flaky or buttery crust you’d expect, but it was thin crisp and did its job simply. The filling, oh the filling is a whole separate story. The filling was light and bursting with egginess, unlike any other egg tart I’ve tried before that deviate more towards Western/HK styles. The lighter filling also meant being able to eat more than one without the overwhelming buttery feeling 🐽🐽Though slightly pricy, quite worth the price for the occasional treat! 👍🏻👍🏻
