Apart from the usual Western fare, The Coastal Settlement also provided some local favourites done the TCS way. Say for instance their Hokkien Mee (S$19.00), that rich seafood stock enhance the umami flavours of the hawker food. In addition, the mildly wetness of the dish, coupled with the surprisingly springy yellow noodles and thick bee hoon made my dinner even more delicious than usual.

Of course, the price tag was the unattractive factor to this item, for most hawker centres would sell this portion at 60% less pricey. Still, not a bad choice for a change.
