This is another dish to expect from Yum Cha's upcoming Mother's Day Special Set Menu. A slice of scallop with a ball of prawn stuffing on the top and deep fried with salted egg. It's recommended to eat together with the piece of lettuce, which indeed helped to balance out the flavors. The salted egg coating was rather rich but we were just hoping for a slightly thicker cut of scallop. You can also order this ala carte at $14.80 for 3 pieces.

The Mother's Day Special Set Menu will be available from 1st to 14th May at both Yum Cha Chinatown and Changi.
