Happiness is when you ask the chef for his recommendation and it turns out to be bloody good. So good that everyone else at the table clamours for a bite of it. That’s exactly what happened with my “Fish Pie” from the newly-launched Sunday Brunch menu at Bayswater Kitchen. So, thank you Chef Jack Allibone!
What I found under that bobble blanket of silky-soft, fluffy mashed potato were chunky pieces of cod, smoked salmon, prawns and leeks. Accompanying this English-style pie was a big bowl of healthily-prepared mixed greens.
Therefore, if you are after a well-balanced meal, this would be an excellent choice.
