Since young, I had many fond memories of supper outings to Lao Zhong Zhong Fine Spice Stall (老中中餐室五香酥虾饼) at the former Jackson Food Centre with my family. Although the food centre has since been demolished to make way for new developments, the stall remains a star in the neighbourhood, buzzing with action at Lao Zhong Zhong Eating House especially on weekends:) The crispy carrot stick (萝卜糕) is my all time favourite, the fried beancurd is super soft and fragrant and the pork liver roll is great👍🏻 The chilli has just the right amount of sweetness and spiciness, and compliments the fried ingredients perfectly. Although the food items are fried, they don’t feel that oily which is a great plus point. Old is Gold🤩! #ngorhiang
