Why not? 😉 With a 3-in-1 combination of cheddar, mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, this thick and creamy cheese sauce leaned towards the savoury side, with a piquant lingering saltiness that was surprisingly a good combination to the waffles, along with a tangy note from the raspberry coulis that provided a tinge of acidity for a good balance. On a side note, the waffles here lacked the crisp factor, leaning towards the soft and fluffy side with a cake-like interior. Would personally prefer if there’s some crispness in the exterior. Nevertheless, the batter was still fragrant and enjoyable. I also added on a scoop of matcha ice cream (which is made by matcha powder sourced from @matchayasg) that was smooth, creamy with a distinct and fragrant characteristic earthy note. Of course, a more intense matcha flavour with a bitter undertone would be preferred for me but thank goodness this was not too sweet, with a pleasant lingering earthy fragrance .
