I find it difficult to accept the prices of Vietnamese fare in Singapore as compared to the real deal in Vietnam. But I was enlighten that my statement is an apple to orange comparison factoring the different cost of living between the 2 countries- this occured when I sunk my teeth into this authentic banh mi. Crispy baguette- that opens up to a column of sardine fish. The protein was also surrounded by leafy coriander, pickled radish and carrot, cucumber drenched in a delectable vietnamese fish sauce and chilli concoction. I enjoyed every bite and consequently was happy paying $6 nett for this.
