Apollo CKT is probably 1 of the iconic stall there, with their signature wet CKT. Still very flavourful though the Wok Hei didn’t taste as distinct as before, and not everyone may like this version.
老娘 Wanton Mee sounded good and it certainly had potential, with the thicker bouncy noodles and fiery chilli. But the lady probably exerted too much of her prowess with her salty soy sauce.
The Hollywood Chendol looked attractive and it was refreshing, just wished the Gula Melaka was more pronounced for the taste to pop.
Not our favourite Putu Piring so far, but the brown cake from the same stall was the dark horse instead. Light and fluffy, it was tasty with an aromatic caramel-like taste.
Nevertheless, we liked that the FC looked so clean and was so well-ventilated and cooling (many powerful fans!), making makan at FC such a pleasant experience again.
