Gotta show their dim sum menu some loving! This is a beautifully stacked creation, starting with 1) Yam base packed with a savoury filling of scallops & mushrooms, 2) a whole scallop and finally 3) well-balanced succulent abalone that comes slathered in starchy sauce. The three components meshed well to synthesize a thick, briny flavour; almost like a bite-sized version of seafood stir-fry. I was also very impressed by the flaky puff-like skin which crackled and easily melted in my mouth. Glad to have listened to my gut and ordered this despite the price! 😂
