Came here to try a friend’s favourite sweet and sour pork but found the cut they use a little too lean for my liking, so here’s my unexpected favourite dish instead!

Simple but so well-executed — jiggly blocks of deep-fried tofu with chunky prawns doused in that slurp-worthy umami-packed zhup replete with silky beaten egg strands. Get this if you like to spoon sauces and gravies over your rice!
