Grilled Chestnut Pork Belly on Rice. Tried this new Japanese establishment at Tanjong Pagar Centre; thought the pork was expertly grilled and immensely tender — so melt-in-the-mouth and juicy, whilst carrying a hint of sweet-savouriness and slight smokiness from the grilling. Though the presentation is less crazy than what it seems on the menu, it’s pretty worth considering it’s quality at $15; opt for the Onsen Egg at a dollar extra which one could get to mix up with all the rice beneath for a silkier texture.
