With an aggressive marketing strategy and partnerships with multiple restaurants in Singapore, it’s been pretty hard to ignore Impossible Foods’ plant-based meat alternative products. I must admit I was skeptical, but Three Buns’ Impossible burger offerings completely blew my expectations out of the water. From the taste, texture to mouthfeel, and especially the bloody medium-rare interior, the charred patty was oozing flavour and I wouldn’t have believed it wasn’t meat if I hadn’t known beforehand. In fact, we preferred it to the beef burger also served that night. Impossible Foods has got my vote.
