I rarely eat gimbap (or kimbap) but read so many good things about Meta’s Gimbap ($15+) that I decided to try it for myself. And I was really impressed. It was very different. This is part of Meta’s takeaway menu designed for the circuit breaker period. And tomorrow’s (19 June) the last day you can try it.

So you’ll get 8 pieces of rice rolls, tuna, egg strips and vegetables wrapped in nori seaweed. A popular food with kids and picnics, gimbap is seasoned with sesame and salt unlike sushi rice - which is seasoned with vinegar. Really tasty and flavourful.
