Hidden gem in the basement of One Raffles Place! You line up at the cashier to place your order, & then after paying up, they'll allocate you a table number helps prevent the unpleasantries that might stem from the all too familiar chope wars that happen during weekday lunch peak hour.

The Pork Belly bowl is priced at a very attractive $10 nett, but since I'm the kind of loser that peels fat away from belly meat before I eat them, I decided to go for the Iberico Pork Jowl Bowl which costs slightly more (but isn't exorbitant) at $13.80 nett.

The meat had great texture & the sweet sauce that comes with it was so flavourful yet not overpowering. If you wanted more sauce, each table has a few different sauces & condiments on the side that you can help yourself to. The egg was also perfectly runny - which delights me. The pickles were nothing special, but the rest of the dish was great & I'd order this again. I only wish there were the option of adding extra meat to this - they only let you do this for the pork belly.

Added $1 to get a cup of lemongrass drink which tasted odd & filled with regret. That, I wouldn't recommend.
