Apart from the ever-popular Bara Chirashi Don, Rakki Bowl also offers a Salmon Don and Spicy Salmon Don for those who prefers having only raw salmon. While the Spicy Salmon Don does not feature any marinated fish, the Spicy Salmon Don is still pretty refreshing with the chunky cubes of raw salmon that provided a bite; the portion being rather generous despite us ordering the small size with enough cubes of fish to go around the bed of cold, slightly sweetened Japanese rice beneath. Chili padi had been added over the cubes of salmon for that promised spiciness — a bite into one instantly releases a lethal spiciness that goes round the tongue and lips that is pretty unforgiving yet shiok. Again, pretty value-for-money considering its quality and price point.
