Only available for a limited period, this satay chicken burger bento is also served with a side of sweet potato tater tots and mesclun salad with honey miso dressing. A thick slab of boneless chicken fillet topped with satay rempah, wakame, sliced cheddar and a sunny side up sandwiched between two soft and fluffy sesame brioche. The chicken was tender, meaty and slightly succulent, with the rempah contributing to a flavourful, fragrant profile, coupled with a tinge of aromatic spice. Wished that the cheese was melted, instead of a thick hardened slice. Nevertheless, the other components were still a satisfaction to the palate, with the wakame providing a pleasant crunch and the sunny side up possessing a vibrant orangey yolk too 😍. Though a pity it didn’t turn out to be flowy as expected 😒. In addition, I am glad (and relieved) that the sweet potato tater tots this time round aren’t charred unlike my previous visit, with a crisp exterior and a pleasantly sweet interior of sweet potato mash. The mesclun salad provided a refreshing crunch and ending to the meal, coupled with a side of sweet honey miso dressing that’s certainly a great condiment that I even paired it with the tater tots and burger buns as wellπŸ™ˆ.
