Adjourned to The Bravery after dinner at Easy Noodles Bar, which is just a 9 minute walk away. We arrived around 8.50pm, slightly before the last order timing of 9pm. Thankfully there was quite a good choice of dessert cakes (although when I tried to order the all day breakfast pancake stack, we were informed that they were sold out since morning). To go along with our cake, I went for the hot lavender latte ($5.50) as it was a unique drink.

Presentation of the drink is lovely. Served atop a custom wooden tray, the lavender latte is served warm - just the right temperature for immediate consumption. The latte art was a bit shabbily done, but the lavender flowers covered it up. The contrast of the tiny lavender petals against the brown-white latte foam was gorgeous.

The lavender and coffee aromas mingled with each other - emitting a really comforting and relaxing scent. The coffee wasn’t too acidic or bitter, however, I felt I couldn’t taste much of the lavender flavour with each sip. For a pretty and unique drink, this would be a good choice. But if you want something with a stronger lavender taste, opt for the Lavender Cold Brew instead.
