Made from scratch, as with his other very homely and delicious dishes, the rolls are stuffed with pork, prawns, waterchestnuts and candied wintermelon, seasoned with Chinese five-spice powder and perhaps some of those magical herbs from his garden, then fried till fragrant and just the right touch of delicate crisp. A definite must-eat from @pasirpanjangboy / @1cattynapinch's spread of homecooked Peranakan dishes.
