We visited Majang Meat Market in Seoul, South Korea, where you can buy fresh beef from the butchers and bring it directly to a BBQ restaurant to grill. We bought hanwoo beef, the so-called “Wagyu of Korea”, and it was marvellously marbled. The price depends on the cut and weight, and we got ours for KRW 64,800 (plus the seller threw in a few extra pieces of beef brisket for free), enough to eat 3 people. Not bad, and definitely tastier and cheaper than Singaporean K-BBQ! (Watch my food review on YouTube now https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLUdro073NA!)
