Food Republic @ Shaw House upped the food court game by having a designated corner of Japanese food stalls.

The first stall I tried was Omurice Factory as the food models at the stall front were just so enticing. Instead of the signature demiglas and the seductive curry, I chose to have white cream omurice ($8.90).

There are 3 toppings to choose from for additional of $3.90: pork cutlet, fried prawns and chicken cutlet. If you are interested, add melted cheese for just $1.90. Big eaters can include everything! πŸ˜„

This plate of Omurice was above my expectation for food court standard and its price. πŸ‘ Reasons being, the portion was really huge, pork cutlet was thick albeit slightly dry and the omelette's doneness was on spot - it was still a little wet and wobbling.

But I was a little sad that there was no ketchup at the stall to let my draw a heart on my omurice. πŸ˜” And usually omurice uses fried rice but Omurice Factory uses plain rice.
