From the mains, there is the Local Barramundi ($36) that is supplied by Kuhlbarra, a locally farmed fish supplier and Chef ArChan has utilized this quality piece to perfection by paying homage to our local grilled stingray dishes. The fish is first marinated in spices and aromatics such as turmeric, lemongrass, chilli and fish sauce before for 24 hours and wrapped in a banana leaf before being grilled. Served with a refreshing herb salad, this is one dish that you should not miss out on ordering when here.

Continuing with the local produce is the Ah Hua Kelong Seafond Bouillabaisse ($9) which comes with an umami soup broth that contains an assortment of seafood, vegetables, aromatics and white wine. The fresh local seafood such as prawns, mussels and clams that are sourced from Ah Hua Kelong are then added and cooked with the broth. To have a balanced meal, do not skip on vegetables and the must-order is the Grilled “Ugly” French Beans ($8) which are grilled and powdered with a spice mix of cumin and chilli salt, reminisce of those skewers you can order from Chinese eateries along Chinatown.
