Accented by pretty terrazzo patterns made with pink flower petals and sliced pistachios, Tigerlily Patisserie’s Pink Guava & Pear ($12) was a pleasant and surprisingly light after-meal dessert. Delicate, the tropical fruity pairing was pretty subtle overall. The pink guava jelly and fresh pears provided some bite and a bright refreshing musky fragrance. The elderflower liqueur pear mousse, on the hand, was smooth, soft, and held a gentle floral sweetness. Best eaten all together; the cookie layered at the very bottom was my favourite element as it was buttery and slightly malty in flavour. The crisp-crumbly base also served as a nice texture contrast to the glossy gelatinous exterior.
