Mag’s Wine Kitchen is where one can indulge in modern French cooking amidst the restaurant's signature home-style ambience and hospitality by Chef-Owner Magdalene Tang. It was first established in Circular Road back in 1996, but has relocated to its new location in the thriving precinct of Keong Saik Road.

I spent an evening there, as I enjoyed the honest, soulful cooking of Mag and her chefs, with dishes such as soba with uni, crab melon confit, mussels, pork belly confit, and this steak.

What's outstanding about this steak besides the juicy medium rare center and perfectly seared exterior, was the use of three different types of pepper on its crust. Spicy, bold, and very fragrant. Totally loved it.
