An interesting take on a traditional dish: though comprising the same ingredients of egg and tofu, the overall taste and feel is almost entirely different from what Iโ€™m used to. The deep fried sheets of egg behave almost like a sponge, absorbing and being completely saturated with a cloyingly sweet type of gravy that borders on being overwhelming... as such, I much prefer the dryer and more savoury version! The thick peanut sauce managed to mask the sweet taste at least. On a side note, crackers were stale and not crisp ๐Ÿ˜ž
