Located in an obscure row of shophouses at Jalan Besar, @sidewayssg is a café with brunch during the day and a woodfired casual dining restaurant at night. Its menu features a variety of Mediterranean-inspired small plates and mains, as well as Sourdough that are baked in-house using their very own wood-fired brick oven.

The harmony of flavours & textures from the pistachio pesto sauce complemented the soft, flaky flesh encased within a crispy squid ink shell. I wished there were more of that sauce to indulge in 😋.
