No Crab Noodles (S$9.80)
‘Cos The Kind Pho was not available.
Tasted nothing like crab noodle nor like the laksa which the staff described. Rice noodle in tomato base broth topped with dou miao (what’s this doing here?), green, egg roll, fish cake, pineapple, mushroom, chilli padi and a wedge of lime.
Disappointed that one was charged S$0.50 for takeaway. I planned to eat there and had taken a seat a meter away from the front customer who bought a $1 roll busy talking to 2 others. The staff gave some bullshit excuse that seats didn’t have 1 meter distance whereas the 2 groups right at the back were sitting back to back. The staff didn’t even ask when I place order. Only after payment then I noticed the extra charge. Hated the sneaky action. Not quite environmental friendly since items were packed in orange plastic bag with disposable plastic spoon and chopsticks. The Tropical Salad was overwhelming of chopped nuts which made the jaw worked like no tomorrow. Just realized I wasn’t given the free drink too! 😞
