I think we're all pretty familiar with Chateraise by now. They recently opened a new premium takeaway bakery concept called Chateraise Premium Yatsudoki. It is located at Tanjong Pagar’s Guoco Tower. Unlike Chateraise, Yatsudoki offers freshly-baked items such as the 𝑭𝒖𝒋𝒊 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒖𝒎 𝑱𝒂𝒑𝒂𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒆 𝑨𝒑𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝑷𝒊𝒆 ($6.50). The apple pie is filled with soft chunks of caramelized Fuji apples and a custard which is too sweet for my liking. But I love the golden flaky layers of the filo pastry sheet. I also tried their Strawberry Shortcake and Freshly Custard Fresh Cream Puff but it was just alright. I’ve had better ones in Singapore.
