The long queues for @petitpain.sg are a testament to how good their bakes and viennoiseries are.

One of my favourites apart from their Apple Danish is their Escargot. Buttery, flaky pastry filled with raisins - how can something so simple be so good. Just look at all those laminated layers. It's amazing how Petit does them oh so well while keeping their prices so low - any other typical bake shop would have sold this for 6-8 bucks. It's no wonder people keep coming back for more - and that includes moi of course.
