Talay Kata is a great place for anyone to have mookata in a full air-conditioned setting with a good wide spread of seafood and meat. Besides, there's a dessert station where you can create your own shaved ice dessert (I ended up choosing everything because it's a tough choice...).
The reason why I love mookata so much is because it has both grilling board and steamboat to balance each other out. And at Talay Kata, there are 4 different soup bases: bonito flakes, chicken, tom yum and salted egg yolk (yes, you read it right!). The good quality and the freshness of the ingredients, especially those seafood, shone through from the rich flavourful soup after intense grilling! Some of the highlights are crayfish, mud crab, pork jowls and clams. Don't forget to dip your seafood spread in the green seafood chilli that's definitely not for the faint-hearted. #BurppleMookata
