Tried Maxwell Hakka Handmade Yong Tau Foo ($5.40 for 9 pieces) at Maxwell Food Centre and this is potentially my new favourite YTF stall around the areaš! The ingredients are fresh and large, and the fish paste filling is mixed with minced meat for that extra oomph. I love the fried bitter gourd, eggplant and beancurd skinš The chilli has just the right amount of spiciness and sweetness, and each bowl is drizzled with dark soy sauce for that extra flavour. Iāve tried similar Hakka YTF in the area that is more more expensive and the ingredients are much smaller, so this stall is a gem for me:)!
