Pulling out all the stops, Bridge Restaurant Bar which seeks to provide fine-dining without the exorbitant cost, really impressed me with their exquisite dinner menu.

With a splash of colour, Bridge’s Ink Risotto and Purple Octopus ($28) was truly stunning, both aesthetically and in taste. A unanimous favourite at the table, the strikingly purple grilled octopus was tender, lightly chewy and added texture to the flavorsome dish - making it the perfect accompaniment to the dramatic squid ink risotto. The bold pairing of the bright saffron lemon curd also gave a subtle tangy and zesty lift to cut through the richness. Bringing in the flavours of the sea, the highlight was of course the creamy and umami risotto topped with earthy pickled shimeiji. Having tiny forkfuls to savour the taste, it is some thing I definitely see myself ordering again (and willingly sacrifice my teeth for).

A big thank you to @Alhsx for extending the invite and @Bridge.sg for hosting us!
