Portions tend to be tiny, and the menu is not super long, but generally speaking the food is good and unusual. The char siew is fantastic, although it’s a bit sweet, so limiting consumption to two pieces per person probably maximises pleasure. The signature truffle duck is delectable. The seabass is quite yummy. Other dishes we had are ok without being wow - the main thing is there was no bad dish. Service is very attentive, albeit a bit awkward throughout the evening. Prices are reasonable, especially with a discount voucher from a variety of suppliers like Entertainer. Overall, a good restaurant, but not good enough to displace the premium Chinese restaurants at hotels in the Orchard Road area, eg. Regent, Four Seasons, Orchard Hotel, Mandarin Orchard. But in my opinion, it beats Goodwood Park, Marriott, and maybe St Regis.
