Forget the chewy, rubbery calamari wannabes. This is the real deal. Calamari that's soft as tofu and cut up in nice big chunks and stir fried with beans then topped off with spring onions. Surprisingly delicious, but can be a little on the spicy side.

Fat Noodle seems to be a favourite at the Treasury with it’s Asian-fusion cuisine by celebrity chef Luke Nguyen. As part of Brisbane Festival (1 August – 24th September) you can enjoy an Asian banquet for two at just $50! It’s insanely good value as we tried to polish off this meal with 3 people, but still couldn’t finish all the food.
For $50, you get…
- Edamame Beans with Chilli and Sea Salt
- Char Siu Pork Belly with Asian Greens
- Grilled Half Chicken with Asian Curry Marinade (comes with rice)
- Cabbage Salad with Coconut and Lime Dressing
- Duck Fried Rice
- Sizzling Calamari
- One glass of A title Creatures Pale Ale (bring someone who doesn’t drink so you get to drink it!)
