Went to Saboten on a Saturday night at 7pm and there was a queue outside of the store. We waited half an hour before we were let in. It was our first time patronising the restaurant and we didn’t expect it to be so popular

We ordered 3 sets:
• Loin Katsu Gozen (Large) 150gm $25.50
• Cheese Tenderloin & Loin Latsu Gozen $27.50 (pictured)
• Nigiwai Tenderloin Katsu Gozen $29 - comes with 2 small appetisers: we chose Agedashi Tofu & Ebi Karaage (pictured)
• Chicken Karaage $5 - not nice 5/10

We love the Nigiwai Tenderloin Katsu Gozen more than the signature Loin Katsu Gozen because it was so much more tender & it melts in your mouth. We also love the mini ebi karaage which was very tasty & yummy.

Each set comes with rice, miso soup, chawanmushi, cabbage & desert (matcha icecream). Free refil for rice, miso soup & cabbage.

Total bill: $100

We ordered 3 sets for 4 person because we are not big eaters & we were super full from the meal. Meat tastes good, batter was flavourful, much better than Ginza Anzu @ Great World City which serves similar food. I will return again provided I’m celebrating an occasion as it is very pricy.
