Today I sacrificed the calories intake for the Heap Leong VS Good Spice black carrot cake showdown. My tastebuds affirmed that my usual stall is the better one. I cannot fathom why people, the "food bloggers" are saying the latter is better. I find that the carrot cake is mushy and drenched in diluted black sauce. The former wins in giving a firm homemade carrot cake with charred garlic bit and a thick black sauce.
