Go Natural Cafe is what greets you directly outside the baggage pick up area at Barcelona El Prat airport T1. They supposedly serve healthier food choices, with organic, vegetarian and vegan options. For lifestyle diets, they even have low carb options such as the broccoli and yogurt salad. In addition, they have tons of warm sandwiches with deli meats, as well as loaf cake slices, cupcakes, brownies and muffins.

My meal was quite pricey for EUR17. It was also quite substandard, but at least the salad vegetables were fresh. I liked the crisp and vibrantly green broccoli, with a slightly sweet and tangy yellow yogurt sauce below that’s mixed with sliced almonds. The salad also comes with sliced golden globe grapes and cherry tomatoes that are sweet, as well as a cut hard boiled egg. These are also served with balsamic vinegar but I thought the salad with yogurt had enough taste without any additional dressing.

The egg frittata was too starchy and grainy from all the potatoes in my opinion. It was dry and not very appetising. Would’ve been better with more egg and maybe 1/2 the potato, with some onions. The Parma ham was an interesting addition, but didn’t do much to help the frittata overall.

I liked the soy cappuccino here, as it was a smooth yet slightly acidic roast. The cocoa powder on top is definitely sweetened, but that’s such a lovely contrast to the milky foam and coffee.

While I wouldn’t buy the frittata again, I’d likely get a coffee and maybe a hot sandwich or baked pastry from Go Natural cafe if I need something in a jiffy!
