For this year, the restaurant will be presenting the White Chocolate and Cream Cheese Red Velvet Yule Log with Brandied Fruits and Nuts ($58), which puts together all things Christmassy into a bite. Taking inspiration from the traditional fruit cake, the combination of fruits such as Griottes cherries, cranberries, raisins and citrus peel are soaked in a concoction of rum, kirsch and cognac for months before its being used as part of the stuffing with the red velvet sponge. The final touch is to apply a thick layer of cream cheese and white chocolate. Every bite of it will result in a myriad of flavours from the luscious cream cheese, decadent white chocolate while complementing the sponge, fruits and nuts. This logcake will be available for purchase via their hotline 6428 3160 or emailing them from 15-22 Dec. Diners who visit Spice Brasserie from 20 Dec to 1 Jan will also get the opportunity to savour this logcake which is part of the festive buffet spread.
