Tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood of Greenwood, we found a spot serving French-Isaan cuisine 🇫🇷✨

Sitted atop a mix of creamy bacon and stewed coco beans, the 𝗗𝘂𝗰𝗸 𝗟𝗲𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝘁 ($𝟮𝟴) is fall-apart tender 🦆

This recommended dish didn't disappoint! Sitting on a bed of creamy mashed potato, the tender honey glazed iberico pork is served with chef’s pick of the daily vegetables 🐷

Overall, the serving may not be the most generous, but food quality is assured (at least for mains) and it certainly has a nice ambience for celebrations/dates. Would be back for the savoury items! ✨

Decorated with curry leaves, the tender mooping is one of the better ones that I've had. Not gamey and pairs well with the garlic sauce 👍

A seasonal item, the steamed fish ($80) is fresh and comes with Thai-style sauce nahm jim. Enjoyed this!

The warm sticky rice complemented the sliced mangos. Of the desserts that we tried, we best enjoyed this recommended dish 🥭

We also had the 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 ($𝟭𝟰) and 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘃𝗮 𝗰𝗮𝗸𝗲 ($𝟭𝟰) 🍫 Both came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream each, though we did feel that the desserts were a little underwhelming.

I was very fortunate to have tried the Borrowdale Pork at Farangse. It could sound like a contradiction, but this was what I tasted - it was porky but not gamey, it was fat yet it doesn't felt gelat.

Being free range, the pigs have their own time and space to live like pigs should - sleep 70% of the time, and laze around in mud when they feel like it. With no artifical hormones added to speed up their growth, they take longer to grow their full size. This means that the pork are a little fatter, because of their lifestyle, and that they take longer to grow.
