Great food, great service, nice and cozy environment - a wholesome dining experience!
It comes with a high price but with the experience, it's a worth place to visit and dine in with a group of friends (recommended 3-4 pax)

Roasted Bone Marrow, Grilled Ox Tongue, Spicy Crispy Pig's Ear, and Uni Lardo & Caviar Toast.
They all are a great starter before the main star: taste light and fills you at a just nice level. The Pig's ear and Ox Tongue would be 2 of my favorites - they're unusual but actually great.

Medium Rare Wagyu Zabuton and Rib Cap, accompanied by Beef Heart Tomato, Grilled Seasonal Mushroom and Crusted Mac & Cheese.
The main star of the dinner and it will never disappoint anyone at all. The fatty marbled meat is perfectly made and will satisfy your tongue. Not really a fan of Medium Rare steak but this gave a new wonderful perspective for that.
Another mention would be the Crusted Mac & Cheese - they up the game with the truffle oil in it and it made the Mac and Cheese to a whole new level

Eton Mess and Burnt Blue Cheese Cake.
an uncommon kind of desserts but loveable to the tongue.
Was intimidated by the Blue Cheese Cake at first but it's actually one of the best cheesecake you could get.

Special appreciation to Ash who provided a great recommendation and service to us throughout the dining experience.

Overall, 10/10 dining experience!

Fat Belly served pretty awesome food and a memorable dining experience (thanks Ash!!) - a pretty sweet place to chill and eat good food with friends! The place is designed for friends and warmth, and the hearty laughs from other tables definitely showed that we weren’t the only ones who enjoyed ourselves.

*appetisers* We had the crispy pig’s ears, grilled ox tongue, roasted bone marrow and some uni and caviar on sour dough toast - loved the ox cause it wasn’t too gamey!! Side note, the pig’s ears might be my new favourite thing.

*mains* The fatty wagyu zabuton and wagyu rib cap were absolutely delicious in medium rare - tip: boldly monopolise the borderlaise sauce. Also, please get the crusted Mac and Cheese. Eat it slow and let the the truffle oil seep into the beautiful 3 cheese topping.

*dessert* Burnt Blue Cheesecake. Get it. It’s good and the blue cheese is very subtle.

Great experience - would go back again to heartily celebrate special occasions with loved ones.

Total about $100 per pax for the entire meal, would recommend going about 4 pax to share the dishes, so as not to overeat or spend too much!!

We started our meal with a nicely spiced crispy pig’s ear, grilled ox tongue, a flavourful roasted bone marrow, and an extremely luxurious uni, lard and caviar toast. The uni had a perfect custard like texture and left a sweet, briny aftertaste - just the way i like it. This was complemented with the buttery texture of the lardo, and topped with a glistening dollop of caviar.

For the mains, we had a nicely crusted mac and cheese, grilled mushrooms, and the sweetest tomatoes I’ve ever tasted. Beef heart tomatoes have really changed the tomato game for me. For the meats, we had both the wagyu zabuton and the wagyu rib cap - both cooked to a beautiful medium rare. While my fellow diners preferred the rib cap (admittedly because of the intense flavour from the incredible marbling), i personally preferred the zabuton. The exceptionally tender zabuton meat that soaked up the sweet fragrance of the bordelaise sauce really just did the magic for me.

The meal was tied up with a beautiful eton mess, and a burnt blue cheese cake. I was skeptical about using blue cheese in a burnt blue cheesecake at first, but one bite of it had me sold as the sharp taste of the blue cheese complemented the burnt aftertaste. The rich creamy taste, complemented with the refreshing berries sorbet was a beautiful way to tie up this amazing meal.

Hands down one of the best dining experiences i’ve had. Good food, amazing service (shoutout to Ash!), and a cosy ambience. 10/10 for me. Keep up the good work guys.

The experience was great as the staff are really friendly and accommodating, the food was excellent and the serving time was really on the dot! The grilled octopus is so tender and soft! In the dish there is also beef tripe, with this addition, it completes the dish! We also had the roasted bone marrow, served together with sourdough, you can enjoy it like butter of bread. Another highlight is their scampi butter, extremely umami!! The visit has been a great experience! If you are one for adventure, FBSS is the place to go! Blown away at food like pig ears, lesser known cuts like Zabuton and Rib Cap

After climbing up an unassuming stairway and opening what seemed like a door to Narnia, we were brought to an ambient and casual steakhouse with a novel concept. The atmosphere was truly speakeasy, with Indie music playing in the background and our waiter promptly attending to us. Ash was a pleasant and thoughtful, checking in on us every now and then and making sure that we were comfortable and enjoyed our meal. His down-to-earth personality really brought service to another level! Aside from the fantastic service, the food was nothing short of amazing. We started off with Crispy Pig's Ear and Grilled Ox Tongue, the latter being my favorite due to how well seasoned it was. Combined with shaved fennel, salsa verde, and jalapeno, the dish had a distinct Mediterranean twist. The star of the night was undoubtedly the Black Opal Zabuton Wagyu and Full Blood Wagyu Rib Cap, served literally on a silver platter with plump cherry vine tomatoes and roasted garlic, accompanied by a Borderlaise sauce and Scampi butter. The steak was perfectly cooked to a medium rare, well seasoned, and with a delightful charred crust. While the sauces complemented the meat well and added a new dimension to its taste, the purist in me gravitated towards smearing each slice with the beautifully roasted garlic, resulting in a garlicky but slightly sweet bite of juicy, melt-in-your-mouth steak. The sides deserved much attention too, especially the Beef Heart Tomatoes which managed to convert a tomato hater like myself. We wrapped up the meal with an Eton Mess and Burnt Blue Cheese Cheesecake. While the latter may be offputting to some, the chefs have expertly crafted the dish such that the blue cheese funk doesn't consume your palate, but rather leave a lingering aftertaste. Coupled with a berry sorbet that cuts through the melted gooeyness, the dish was well balanced in every aspect.

Overall, we enjoyed every dish, and coupled with a laid back and chill atmosphere, this is a perfect place for an after work hangout or a romantic date.

Had a great experience! Service was excellent. Ambience was very classy. Superb Wagyu Zabuton and Rib Cap. Burnt Stilton Cheesecake was unforgettable. 👍👍

PS So sorry we were underdressed😬
