A friend and I got dinner at this place last week. The cozy, relaxing atmosphere was perfect for unwinding after work, coupled with the friendly and helpful staff who even explained the different dishes and cuts of steak to us. The food itself was delicious, especially the steak (we got the black opal wagyu zabuton ms6-7 and 2gr full blood wagyu rib cap ms8/9). We also really liked the mac and cheese - it wasn’t just any ordinary mac and cheese, but had like, many different kinds of cheese, plus truffle in it. Lastly, for dessert, we had the eton mess. The outer meringue and cream paired with the sorbet in the middle with bits of citrus fruit made the perfect combination when mixed. Needless to say, it was an extremely satisfying meal, and I would definitely recommend!

My friend and I started off with the uni lardo toast and grilled octopus in ox tripe which whet our appetite. The wagyu zabuton and wagyu rib cap with the borderlaise sauce and the scampi butter was cooked to perfection, and was perfectly harmonious when paired with the tomato salad and truffle mac and cheese. The dessert, Eton mess, ended off the meal with a sweet and refreshing aftertaste.
The atmosphere was very cozy with paintings on the wall and cordial and hospitable waiters who knew their menu well.

It is my first time at Fat Belly Social Steakhouse and what an impression it made on its inaugural occasion. The restaurant is warm and cosy, and, most importantly, the food did not disappoint. The Starters: "Grilled Octopus" and "Uni, Lardo & Caviar Toast" made a good entry, and the Mains" "Black Opal Wagyu Zabuton MS6-7" and "2GR Full Blood Wagyu Rip Cap MS8/9" naturally rocks as far as Beef can be. The Sides: "Crusted Mac and Cheese" and "Beef Heart Tomato", and the Dessert: "Eton Mess", are rather creatively unique interpretions in their own right. However, the single item which takes the cake has to be "Crusted Mac and Cheese" and I dare say that it might just be the best in town, with its aromatic truffle twist to the otherwise ubiquitously classic dish. In order not to run afoul of the Law, I skipped the alcohol, but the Wine list should be a fine complement to the already delicious food. So, for whom it may concern, please do head on down to the restaurant and enjoy a great time there.

Ordered the wagyu zabuton (MS6-7) wagyu Rib Cap (MS8-9) definitely worth it and portion is large for two pax. The truffle and blue cheese mac is also definitely must try
